The mission of the Georgia Dental Foundation is to provide the underserved of Atlanta increased access to affordable dental and orthodontic care, and to increase the number of Atlanta-area orthodontists by providing scholarships to students attending Atlanta-area orthodontic programs.
Purple Heart Smiles
We want to give back to our veterans, our heroes, as part of our mission
Our Purple Heart Smiles Program serves and empowers children and grandchildren of veterans who were wounded, injured, or killed during their service by providing the opportunity to receive complimentary, high-quality orthodontic treatment. To date, we have provided care to over 50 children and grandchildren of Purple Heart recipients.
Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Program
For more than a decade, the Georgia Dental Foundation has been dedicated to transforming the lives of children born with cleft lip, cleft palate, and other craniofacial conditions. Guided by a dedicated team of volunteer clinicians and specialists, the team travels to Bolivia to provide transformative, life-changing care. These efforts include comprehensive orthodontic treatment alongside a wide range of essential services, all aimed at restoring function, confidence, and hope. Driven by compassion and expertise, the Foundation continues to make a lasting impact

Georgia Dental Foundation
Scholarships
The Georgia Dental Foundation is proud to provide scholarships to students attending Atlanta-area orthodontic programs. To date, we have provided 73 scholarships, $5 million and counting, to Atlanta-based orthodontic residents. It is our hope that our scholarship program will increase the number of Atlanta-area orthodontists, who will then be able to provide the underserved of Atlanta increased access to affordable dental and orthodontic care.
